Backflow Tester Finder

Fire extinguisher inspection

Portable fire extinguishers are a different license from a backflow test. This site does not yet list extinguisher companies, because no official city roster was imported.

TODO: No official Houston, Irving, Miami-Dade, Tampa, or Pensacola fire-extinguisher inspector roster was imported. Do not invent businesses. Florida fire-equipment licensing is published by the State Fire Marshal (https://www.myfloridacfo.com/division/sfm/bfp/regulatorylicensing/). Texas fire-extinguisher firms are licensed by the State Fire Marshal's Office (https://www.tdi.texas.gov/fire/). Add a parser only after a stable public roster URL is confirmed and fetched.

Why there is no company list yet

The seed importer only publishes businesses parsed from a public approved-tester file. The five launch utilities publish backflow tester lists. They do not publish a matching extinguisher-inspector roster that this importer could fetch.

Until that file exists and is fetched, the extinguisher page will not show company names. Request a tester if you need this service. That form stores a lead. It does not invent a contractor.

Where licensing lives

In Florida, fire-equipment firms are licensed through the State Fire Marshal. In Texas, fire-extinguisher firms are licensed through the State Fire Marshal's Office at the Texas Department of Insurance. Building owners also follow the inspection intervals in the fire code their city has adopted, often based on NFPA 10.
