How results get to the city
The City of Irving says it no longer accepts paper test reports or paper tester registration applications. Testers submit reports through Envirotrax.
Irving says the fee to submit a test report is $40, and there is no fee for a failed test report.
What the approved list means
The city prints this on the approved tester list: it gives no recommendation or guarantee of the quality of work, or of the fairness of pricing, for any company on the list.
Tester registration with the city is separate from hiring a tester. Irving says registration is $100 a year and is paid to the city. That fee is for the tester, not a price quote for a customer's test.
